Green Week - This week will be filled with tons of fun 'green' themed activities and decorations! We are hoping to make our lounge more Eco-friendly. Supporting the environment we live in is extremely important! Join us for green week, win prizes and have fun!

Dance off- We are going to throw the biggest dance party of the season! There will be prizes and LOTS of people! Mark your calendars for the night of November 12th! See you there!

Bake Sale- We are going to be holding a bake sale on October 27th-29th! We will have tons of yummy, Halloween inspired treats available for low prices! All of the revenue made will be donated to WWF in their conquest to be Eco-friendly! Don't miss out on this wonderful chance to support our lounge AND a worthwhile charity!

Karaoke Night- On October 3rd we will be holding a karaoke competition in our nightclub! There is no extra cost BUT there is a prize! At the end of the night we will 'crown' a karaoke king and queen! The winners of our karaoke contest will each receive a $50 cash prize!

Fail?

Today, Alex, a.k.a. trouble prone, 'impressed' herself in front of all our custumors and staff.

You're probably wondering, 'what exactly did she do?'.Well, she tried to act all courageous by attempting to unclog the men's toilet; a trechorous task! But instead, while using all her strength to finish the job, she ended up a tangled mess on the bathroom floor!

Enough with embarassing Alex! Our wonderful staff have some awesome things planned for all of our customers!

Why did we decide to start our business in Oshawa?

We decided to base our business in Oshawa because of several reasons. It only has 70 cafes, which means that there could be an abundance of customers coming to our cafe and we wouldn't be fighting to the death with other retailers. We also decided that since our demographic is geared towards high school students and young adults, it would be good that Oshawa has 6 high schools. We also decided that since we were catering to younger people, we wanted to be in a safe environment. Therefore, choosing Oshawa for its moderate crime rate rather than Newmarket, which although had more high schools and less cafes, had a high crime rate.

We also figured that we want our lounge to be classy, but not over the top. Thus, placing ourselves in a middle to very upper-class neighborhood was the way to go because there is a large range of people with different budgets. As for our customer base; Oshawa consists of 20% of households with 2 older children attending post-secondary school. This factor is good for our demographic. There is also 60% of households with 2 young children; our thought process on this fact is that, in time the younger children will be older, therefore keeping our customer flow steady.  There is also 20% of single urban professionals in Oshawa which is good because they can also come to our lounge and nightclub.

On the topic of ethnicity, we thought Oshawa was a great place to be because there is a wide range of people! We want our lounge and nightclub to be a diverse and comfortable place for all religions and ethnicity.

These are the reasons we decided to place our business in Oshawa.

 You may ask yourself, why go to Deja Vu Lounge & Nightclub? I'm here to tell you. We are not just some ordinary cafe; we have tons of unique features. By day, we run a cozy lounge, but by night we run a crazy, fun nightclub! I don't know about you, but I've NEVER heard of something like that before! We will have a photobooth open for use by the entrance, where each and every one of you can come to take a picture of yourself having a good time in our wonderful lounge!

 To make everything easier for our customers, we want to clearly state what our prices are regarding entrance fees and our products!

Admission to Lounge: $3.50
Admission to Nightclub: $25.00
3-Month Lounge Membership: $25.00
Admission to Nightclub with Membership: $19.00
Drinks from the Bar: $4.00-$12.00
Café Food and Drink: For further info on our cafe menu, drop by our lounge and check out our wonderful food!

For the sake of our customers piggy banks, we have decided to offer 3 month memberships that will save you a TON of cash!

As you know, our entrance fees for the lounge are usually three dollars per person. However, we want to offer you a money-saving tip: BUY OUR $25.00 THREE-MONTH MEMBERSHIP CARD!!

We want you to try out our lounge, entrance-fee-free, for an ENTIRE week!  After you spend your entrance-fee-free week with us, you can decide whether or not you would like to purchase a membership card!
